cost of strawberry trays = 16.47
cost of ivy trays / cost of strawberries = 3/2
cost of ivy trays = 3(16.47)/2
= ...
add up the two costs
Notice that the fact that you have 13 trays has nothing to do with it, it asked for the total cost
To find the cost of each tray would be easy.
Emily purchased 3 trays of strawberry plants for a total 16.47 dollars. She also purchased 10 trays of ivy plants. If the ratio of the price per tray of strawberry plants to the price per tray of ivy plants is 3 to 2, what is the total cost of all of the plants?

Ok thanks
You answered this wrong.
3 trays of strawberry plants is $16.47 not just one strawberry plant.
Also the ratio is 3 strawberry plants for every 2 ivy plants. You inverted the ratio.
And they want to know how much 10 ivy plants trays + 3 strawberry trays would cost.
Shouldn't it be answered like this:
X= 16.47 + 10 (3/2)(16.47/3)
