I had a problem similar to this that we did in my math class. Our teacher said that you take the # of outcomes over the total amount to get the ratio so for the blue beads it would be 6/9 or in other words the ratio would be 6:9. For the gold it would be 3 :9 because there are 3beads that are gold but the total number of beads is 9. Hope that helps I am pretty sure that is how you do it but I'm not a professional so you may want to double check. Good luck!
