Dr needs 500 needles priced at 2.60 per hundred. She pays with 10 days, she receives a 2% disc; sales tax is 5.5%. What amount would you pay with discount? Is my math correct? 2.60x500=$1300.00 $1300.00x2%=$26.00 $1300.00-26.00=$1274.00w/disc My answer is $1274.00 since they just want disc amt. Am I right? Thanks

$2.60 x500= $1300,
$1300x 5.5% tax=$71.50
$1300 + $71.50= $1371.50
$1371.50 less 2% dic of $27.43
final amount is $1344.07

It’s 2.60 per hundred and they want 500 hundred so you would do 2.60x5=13.00
