Does this sentence has voice issues?
The ball was hit by the boy.
Plz help explain
The ball was hit by the boy.
This sentence is in PASSIVE VOICE; that is, the subject is not doing the action of the verb. (Subject = ball; verb = hit)
It would be better to put the whole idea into ACTIVE VOICE: The boy hit the ball. It's always better to have the subject doing the action of the verb.
