Asked by Millie
Does it make sense to say that someone was "spiraling towards the earth at breakneck speed" or should I pick a better word than spiraling? Any suggestions?

If the person wasn't literally going in circles as he/she fell, then don't use "spiraling."
Go to http://www.thesaurus.com and look up FALLING -- then check out other words that would work better.
