Honestly, I don’t think President Johnson’s actions warranted removal from office. While he faced significant criticism for his handling of the Vietnam War and civil rights issues, I believe impeachment should be reserved for severe misconduct or illegal actions. Johnson, despite his controversial decisions, was legitimately elected and worked within the framework of his presidency. Removing him could have set a dangerous precedent and further polarized an already divided nation.
