Explain how the Russian Revolution and the entry of the United States affected the course and outcome of World War I.

That which I written:

In 1917, the Russian Revolution played a key role in the course and outcome of World War I. This revolution weakened the Allies when V.I. Lenin signed the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk that withdrew Russia from the war, taking a tremendous toll on the Allies’ forces. For Germans, it offered hope for a war triumph as it enabled them to concentrate solely on the Western Front. The entry of the United States, however, was the essential factor that drove the Allies to victory. The United States supplied the Allies with fresh troops and materials, as well as gave them the drive and psychological boost that they desperately needed. Without American troops supported by their destructive weapons, French and Moroccan soldiers may not have been able to preclude the German advance that was orchestrated by General Ludendorff, the man who guided German military operations, at the Second Battle of the Marne.
With the assistance of more than a million American troops, the Allies advanced toward Germany. Unlike opposing forces, Germany was running out of troops and supplies. Faced with such colossal numbers, General Ludendorff thus informed German leaders that the war was lost; they had suffered a humiliating defeat. A demand for the German government to call for a truce shortly followed. The Allied forces, however, were not willing to make peace with the autocratic imperial government of Germany
In order for Germany to reconcile with the Allied forces, many reforms were created to establish a liberal government. To the exhausted and angry German people, however, the efforts of these reforms were futile. They formed councils of workers and soldiers and took over civilian and military offices. As a result of this public pressure, German Emperor William II gave up his throne and fled the country. A political party called the Social Democrats under the direction of Friedrich Ebert then created a new, democratic republic that signed an armistice—an agreement or truce to bring the fighting of the war to an end.
