DISCUSSION:
This experiment was conducted to determine the iron content in a breakfast cereal. The results indicate 39% iron in a sample of Kix cereal. This value is slightly lower than the 43% listed on the cereal box. The difference may be attributed to the spectrometer not being set exactly to zero as well as to some of the chemistry and handling involved in preparing the solution.

Another reason why the iron sample percentage didn’t match up with the box of cereals iron content may be because during the process of transferring the burned cereal to the HCL beaker some of the cereal may have been still left in the crucible. In figure B, the coefficient of regression is 0.9989 which correlates well with the plot of absorbance versus concentration.
Dr. Bob can you help me get a concluding sentence to my discussion please

This value is slightly lower than the 43% listed on the cereal box. The difference may be attributed to the spectrometer not being set exactly to zero at the beginning of the measurement as well as to some of the chemistry and handling involved in preparing the solution. We already have this statement about handling involved in preparing the solution so I think you just fold in the for example statement For example,
Another reason why the iron sample percentage didn’t match up with the box of cereals iron content may be because during the process of transferring the burned cereal to the HCL(use HCl--no capital L) beaker some of the cereal may have been still(omit still) left in the crucible. In figure B, the coefficient of regression is 0.9989 which correlates well with the plot of absorbance versus concentration. You need to check to make sure that plot B actually is a plot of A vs concentration. I may have put words in your mouth.;-)
Try something like this for a closing sentence--actually two sentences. The accuracy of the determination could be improved by using a better method for transferring the sample after the burning stage. Replicate samples should be performed in order to determine the precision of the method.
