He dropped on the floor and fell asleep within seconds. He slept. His limp tongue hung out of his mouth and onto the floor. One time he noticed the open front door. He constantly charged outside toward the busy street. He was obviously enjoying himself. Eight of us were trying to lure him back into the house. We were frantic. He teased us. He came close enough for me to touch him. He sprinted off. Finally, we tempted him back with food. He had exhausted us. We had saved him from traffic. We got him back into the house. We watched his every move.
