Dialogue:

"What's this?" Peter asked, holding it up. Peter's father had reached over and taken it, his face softened. "Huh. Been a long time. That was my favorite toy when I was a kid." Peter asked "Can I have it?" Peter's father tossed the soldier back. "Sure."

Descrptive Language:
As both of them were in Peter's room, from the corner of Peter's eye, he saw a swamp green soldier figure. It was as big as his index finger. Peters' dad's face softened. "Huh. Been a long time. That was my favorite toy when I was a kid. Can I have it?" Peter asks. After his father says "Sure!" He put it on his windowsill beside his bed, pointing the little plastic rifle out in a satisfying show to defense.
