Determine the equation of the line containing the points (-2,5) and (-1,6)

f) y = x + 7
g) y = -x + 5
h) y = -x + 7
j) y = 1/3x + 19/3
k) y = x + 5

I know it must be either f) or k), because I figured out that the slope is 1. But it never mentions about the y-intercept, so is it 5 or 7, and how would I find it?

Thank you!

You are right about the slope, so you are down down two choices.
substitute the points into those remaining equations to see which is the correct one
