Determine all possible values of each quantum number (n, l, ml, and ms) for electrons in both the 2s and 2p subshells.

for 2s the the quantum number would be -1/2,0,1/2 right?

1 answer

That is partly right.
For 2s:
N = 2
l = 0
ml = 0
ms = +/- 1/2 for each electron

For 2p:
N = 2
l = 1
ml = -1,0,+1
ms = +/- 1/2 for each electron
