Team Sport: Volleyball

Basic Rules:
1. The game is played between two teams, with each team consisting of six players.
2. The objective of the game is to score points by legally grounding the ball on the opponent's side of the court.
3. Each team is allowed a maximum of three contacts to return the ball over the net. Typically, the contacts are made with forearm passes, overhead sets, and finally, an attack or spike.
4. Any player is allowed to block or attack the ball at the net, provided they have not committed a foul.
5. The ball must be hit over the net and into the opponent's court within three contacts. A failure to do so results in a point for the other team.
6. The ball is out-of-bounds if it lands completely outside the court or touches any object outside the court.
7. A player cannot touch the net during play, nor can they reach over the net.
8. Each team is allowed a maximum of three specific positional substitutions per set, along with an unlimited number of libero replacements for defensive specialists.
9. Matches are typically played in a best-of-five format, with the team winning three sets being declared the winner.
10. A team must win by at least two points, with each set going up to 25 points (except for the fifth set, which may go up to 15 points).

Note: These are the basic rules for volleyball, but variations can exist in different leagues or competitions.
