Since the start of this course, my views on physical activity have changed in terms of its importance and its impact on overall well-being. Before, I saw physical activity as a chore or obligation, something I had to do to stay fit or achieve certain aesthetic goals. However, now I understand that physical activity is not only crucial for maintaining a healthy weight and appearance but also for promoting mental and emotional well-being.

I have come to realize that engaging in regular physical activity has numerous benefits beyond just physical fitness. It can improve mood, reduce stress and anxiety, increase energy levels, and enhance cognitive function. Furthermore, I have learned that physical activity plays a significant role in preventing chronic diseases such as obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.

Another significant change in my views on physical activity is understanding that it doesn't necessarily have to be limited to traditional exercise or going to the gym. I have learned about the concept of active living, which encourages incorporating movement into daily routines. This can include activities like walking or cycling instead of driving, taking stairs instead of elevators, or participating in recreational activities such as dancing or hiking.

Overall, my perspective on physical activity has shifted from solely focusing on its superficial aspects to acknowledging its holistic and long-lasting benefits. It has become clear that physical activity is not something to endure but rather a fundamental component of a healthy lifestyle that contributes to overall well-being.
