Describe how you know if an inequality is an “and” or an “or” problem. (use -3 < x+5 < 8).

-3<x+5<8 it is an "and" problem since x+5 is less than 8 and x+5 is aiso greater than -3 that means both side of x+5 hold simultaneously.
if one of the side is true not necessarily other side have to be true, then the problem will be "or" problem.
if one of the side is true not necessarily other side have to be true, then the problem will be "or" problem.
