Describe a real life situation that could be modeled by a function.
A real life situation is:
A family decides that they want to get the carpet done in their house. They already have all the necessary material to do the work but they do not know how. They need to hire someone to do the work for them. They find a company that charges $35 an hour to install the carpet. It will take 12 hours to get the carpet done in the house. The domain is the (x)$35 that the company charges for labor multiplied by the range which is the (y)12 hours it will take to get done. This means that the output is the total amount that the family will be paying for the labor for the work to be done. I believe that this is a function because there is only one possible output that can come out of this equation.
