So, you know that u^2 = (-u)^2, right?
so what if u = 2x-7 ?

If u = 2x-7, then
(2x-7)^2 = (-(2x-7))^2 = (7-2x)^2
If u = 2x-7, then
(2x-7)^2 = (-(2x-7))^2 = (7-2x)^2
