Define what prototype is and give four examples of prototype for the category of 'clothing'

I know a prototype is a typical member of a particular category, but i Don't know what would be examples for prototype in terms of clothing...

Would be it: tshirt, pants, dress?

Perhaps fashion designer's clothes can be considered prototypes.
