That's an aids answer. You just don't want to give an answer for us to copy off of you stupid head.
The methods in investigating and sweeping bombs and y traps include the first room sweep, the second room sweep, thirs room sweep, and the fourth room sweep. It's a long explanation to type, but here's a link to explain the different sweepings =)
Edit it didn't work, obviously. But you can google these for quick responses.

Sorry about that...
First room - Look at the furniture or objects in the room and determine the average height of the majority of the objects resting on the floor. When the room has been divided by searching height (usually hip height), two people go to one end of the room and start in a back-to-back position. Each person works his or her way around the room. When the two people meet, they will have completed a wall sweep. They should work together to search all items under the selected height and also under rugs or things mounted on the wall. Second room - The investigator picks a new searching height, usually from the hip to the chin to cover wall hangings, bookcases, and so on, and the sweep starts again the same way. Third room - The investigator picks a third search height, usually the top of the head and higher, and the sweep of the room is conducted again at that height. Fourth room - The fourth sweep usually involves an investigation of a false or suspended ceiling, including ventilation ducts, mounted light fixtures, or speaker systems. Use a sign or tape to let people know the search has been completed.
