container A has twice the capicity of container B. container A is full of sand and container B is empty. suppose 1/8 of the sand in container A is poured into container B. what fractional part of container B will conatin sand.........please halpme i am confused

let capacity of container B be x units
let capacity of container A be 2x units
(1/8)(2x from A is moved B
amount now in B is x/4
so the fraction of B containing sand = (x/4)/x = 1/4
