Okay, for 12 the answer i put was: The civic virtues of ancient Romans, like patriotism and civic duty, inspired the Founding Fathers' vision of how citizens should behave in the United States. This led to a government based on individual rights, representative democracy, and citizen involvement.

However for number 12 I do recommend finding your own answer or at the very least use quilbot to rephrase the answer.
