Interview Transcript with My Sibling

Interviewer (Me): Thanks for sitting down with me for this interview! To start, can you introduce yourself?

Sibling (Alex): Sure! I'm Alex, and I’m your older brother.

Interviewer: Great! Let’s dive in. How would you describe our sibling rivalry over the years?

Sibling: Honestly, I think it was pretty normal. We had our fair share of fights over toys and space, you know? But, looking back, it was all in good fun.

Interviewer: I agree! Can you share one of your favorite memories of us together?

Sibling: Absolutely! I think my favorite memory has to be that time we built a giant fort in the living room. We spent the whole day hiding out together and having pretend adventures. It felt like our own little world.

Interviewer: That was amazing! Speaking of favorites, what was your favorite subject in school, and why?

Sibling: I always loved history. Learning about how things shaped the world was so fascinating to me. Plus, I enjoyed sharing what I learned with you, especially when it came to our school projects.

Interviewer: I remember that! You made history so much fun! What was your highest academic achievement?

Sibling: I think it has to be when I was awarded the academic excellence medal in high school. I worked really hard for it, and it felt great to be recognized for it.

Interviewer: That’s awesome! Did you participate in any sports or athletic activities during school?

Sibling: Yes, I played soccer for a few years and also did track and field. I loved the competitive spirit and the camaraderie with my teammates.

Interviewer: I've seen your soccer pictures; you were really dedicated! Lastly, how do you feel about having me as your sibling?

Sibling: I honestly couldn’t ask for a better sibling. We might have our quarrels, but I really appreciate how we can joke around and support each other.

Interviewer: Thanks, Alex! I really appreciate your thoughts.

Reflection

Through this project, I learned quite a bit about my sibling that I didn’t fully appreciate before. While we’ve always gotten along, I didn’t know how much the memories we shared, like building forts, meant to him. It was also enlightening to hear about his academic successes from his perspective, especially the dedication he put into his studies. Overall, this interview deepened my understanding of our relationship and the bond we share as siblings.
