The slope, or rate of change, is the difference of two y-values in the table divided by the difference of the corresponding x-values.
To find the y-intercept from a table, find the y-value of where x = 0. This is where the graph intersects or crosses the y-axis. If the y-intercept is not in a table, extend the pattern so that the table now includes an input-output pair where x = 0.
