Why are your repeating your post after it has been answered previously ?
As both MathMate and I stated, the theoretical probability of your event is 1/20.
Since you are using experimental probability, the choice that comes closest to 1/20 would be it.
Theoretical Prob = 1/20 = .05
your choices:
3/7 = .42.. , way off!
1/3 = .333.. , no good
3/40 = .075 , a bit too much
2/37 = .054 , that could be it
Collin has a fair coin and a fair 10-sided number cube labeled 1-10. He performs this experiment 150 times to determine the experimental probability that heads is tossed and the number 2 is rolled. Which of the following is most likely to be the experimental probability that Collin determined?
A) 3/7 B)1/3 C) 3/40 D) 2/37
I think heads is 1/2 and i think 2 is 1/10. if you multiply them you get 1/20...times 150=7 1/2.
how do i get the correct answer? because 7 1/2 is wrong.

I'm sorry. I thought my answer choices didn't appear, so I re-entered the question with the choices listed. I thought I was helping by being more clear. Thank you for your help, albeit persnickety.
