Directions: Solve graphically:

x^(2/3)+x^(1/3)-2=0

I just don't know how to approach this?!

2 answers

let x^(1/3) = t

so t^2 + t - 2 = 0
(t+2)(t-1) = 0
t = -2 or t=1

x^(1/3) = -2 or x^(1/3) = 1
x = -8 or x = 1

Don't know how solving this "graphically" can be easier?
Are you supposed to use a graphing calculator?
Thats just what the directions say..

But thank you so much, You Rock!!
