Here are health goals for each of the four selected units:
Unit 2 - Mental and Emotional Health: Mental and Emotional Problems
Health Goal: Practice mindfulness for at least 10 minutes daily to reduce stress and improve emotional regulation. This could include techniques such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, or guided imagery.
Unit 4 - Healthy Eating: Physical Activity and Healthy Eating
Health Goal: Aim to incorporate at least five servings of fruits and vegetables into your daily diet while engaging in a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity each week. This can be tracked via a food diary and activity log.
Unit 1 - Understanding Health and Wellness: What Affects Your Health
Health Goal: Identify and engage in at least three healthy lifestyle changes (e.g., reducing sugary beverages, increasing sleep to 7-8 hours per night, and limiting screen time) that can positively affect your overall health within the next month.
Unit 3 - Personal and Healthy Relationships: Peer Relationships
Health Goal: Strengthen social connections by reaching out to at least one friend or peer each week for a meaningful conversation, whether in person or virtually, to foster supportive relationships and enhance your emotional well-being.
These goals are designed to be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART), focusing on different aspects of health and wellness.
