During my discussion with a trusted adult, we talked about how this idea would help seniors maintain their independence and stay connected with their friends and family. To become a law, the idea would have to be presented to lawmakers at the federal or state level, who would then discuss and vote on it. At the local level, the lawmaking process is different because it focuses on making decisions for specific cities or towns rather than the entire country or state.
