Mary Maloney Before the Murder

Dear Diary,
Today was just like any other day. I was so excited to surprise Patrick when he came home from work; I had his favorite meal ready, and I wanted to make everything perfect. However, he seemed distant and upset, which made me really nervous. I just wanted to feel his love again, but instead, it felt like something was terribly wrong.

Mary Maloney After the Murder

Dear Diary,
I can’t believe what I’ve done. It’s like everything went dark in my mind when Patrick told me he was leaving; I just snapped. I never thought I could hurt someone I loved so much, but in that moment, it felt like I was trapped. Now, I’ve got to figure out how to hide this terrible mistake and protect myself; my whole world is upside down.

The Investigating Officers

Dear Diary,
Today, we were called to a bizarre crime scene. A woman named Mary Maloney reported finding her husband, Patrick, dead in their home, and something just doesn’t feel right. The way she acted seemed strange to us—too calm for someone who just lost her spouse. We need to dig deeper and find out the truth behind Patrick’s murder; there are too many unanswered questions.

The Grocer

Dear Diary,
I had an unusual interaction with Mary Maloney today. She came in looking rather frazzled but was still polite and friendly as always. It struck me as odd that she was asking for ingredients for a big dinner, especially right after hearing about Patrick’s untimely death. I can't shake the feeling that there’s more going on beneath the surface, and I'm starting to wonder what really happened between them.
