                Canadian geese fly south every winter. During this migration, the geese need a lot of rest. So, they do not fly for too many hours each day. A scientist tracked one group of geese that only flew 3 hours each day. These geese flew 30 miles each hour. By the end of their trip, they had flown 2,700 miles. How many days did it take the geese to fly south that winter?

    in a day they fly 3 hours * 30 miles/hour = 90 miles/day
x days * 90 miles/day= 2700 miles
x = 2700 miles / 90 miles/day = 270/9 = 30 days

x days * 90 miles/day= 2700 miles
x = 2700 miles / 90 miles/day = 270/9 = 30 days
