I think you have to write sentences for each of the idioms.
Example:
When I had the flu, I was sick as a dog.
When I had the flu, I was sick as a dog.
For example, Mars and Earth is a small and big planets that's why they are like the best of both worlds.

I just made up the sentence, but I used the idiom.
