I looked at the site but I am confused.
please help!

1,000 megabytes equals 1 gigabyte. Therefore, 5,000 megabytes equals 5 gigabytes.

The answer your teacher is looking for is probably 5 gigabytes. But blow him/her away, give them the "5 gigabyte" answer they are looking for, then say it's really

4.8828125 gigabytes.

1024 megabytes is 1 gigabyte. But most people think of it as 1000 megabytes = 1 gigabyte. 5000 divided by 1024 is 4.8828125 :)
