Can someone read through my essay and make changes? This means a lot. Thank you so much.
In the 17th century, English men and women came to the New World in the hope of practicing their religion freely. These people were known as the Puritans. Many Puritans kept diaries and wrote about their experiences in America. Some examples of Puritan writings include John Smith’s The General History, William Bradford’s Of Plymouth Plantation, Anne Bradstreet’s poem “Upon the Burning of Our House,” Edward Taylor’s “Huswifery,” and Jonathan Edwards’s “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.” Like most Puritan works, these examples are pervaded by three central beliefs: grace, standard of plainness in language, and conviction of a divine mission.
