Can someone please help me with these questions below.

Extinction is a natural selection process. Should humans strive to preserve a representative sample of all biomes or aquatic zones? Why should humans be concerned with the extinction rate?

We wouldn't know the value of these biomes and aquatic zones until they are lost. In addition, people have a responsibility to the Planet Earth to preserve as many biomes and aquatic zones as posible.
