Have you got your dates right?
1919 -- end of World War I
1920s -- boom time -- stock market rose a lot -- many people got rich. Even the farmers had decent weather for growing crops
1930s -- Great Depression. Stock market dropped dramatically in 1929. Many people lost everything. Even the weather was uncooperative as drought hit the Great Plains. The Depression didn't really end until 1942 when we joined in World War II.
Can someone please give me some links. That might help me with this, because I don't understand.
Compare the economic hardships of the Great Depression with today’s economical struggles. You will post a one-paragraph discussion post that compares how the economic crisis leading up to the 1920s is similar to or different from the current economic status in the United States. You will also provide your own evaluation on the effects of the Great Depression and how they might be similar to the effects of economic problems felt by Americans today.
