well, aren't the intercepts points ?
e.g. x-intercept = 6 ----> you have a point (6,0)
y-intercept = -8 ---> your second point is (0,-8)

Can someone help me with this equation please? The directions are:
Write an equation for the line in point/slope form and slope/intercept form that has the given condition.
And the problem is:
x-intercept = 6 and y-intercept = -8
I'm confused though I thought you needed the at least two points to write an equation in point/slope form and slope/intercept form. How do I do it with the x and y intercept?
