Can someone help me with my Algebra question?

Find y if the left hand arc is 5y+5 degrees
the image gives me a picture of a circle with two intersecting lines... one angle on the left says 5y+5 degrees and the other says 2y+12 degrees.
my choices are :
a)19
b) a circle with a slash
c)43
D) 7/3
E) none of these

I think the answer is E none of these and I HAD an answer for what I thought it was but I forgot it because someone deleted BOTH of my questions on here... I think my answer was 3 1/3... or something like that.... Look, there isn't anything in my book on how to figure out this problem, and I need an answer as soon as possible. I'd provide a link, but I can't do that on here, which really sucks.

I don't know how to solve it but i think u need to get the variable by itself first.I don't know what to do after that srry.
Thanks that helped me a little actually. I put each answer in the place of y and determined if the equation was true. I got D for an answer so thanks so much!!
