Can someone give me some ideas on what they think, your views might have been about the coming war of World War 1.
Most people in Europe didn't want war, but were forced into it by their nationalistic and militaristic leaders and their enemies. Of course, the nations that were attacked had to fight back.
In the United States, the majority opposed the our entry into the war, but our leaders believed that we had to send armed forces to rescue our traditional friends, especially England.
