Can someone check these sentences describing Mr Gradgrind?

Mr Gradgrinds's appearance mirrors his beliefs. His eyes contain no light as the square forehead containing facts prevents him from seeing any. His mouth is not more than a hard line as nothing more is needed for the facts to be dictated to the students with his equally uninspiring voice. His head is distorted by the excessive number of facts it stores, and his hair only protects his scalp from light,it doesn't provide any grace or aesthetic appeal.
