Can anyone help with the following:-

Measure the relevant sea level rises as accurately as possible. Give your answers in millimetres to one decimal place.
What is the predicted annual sea level rise in 2050 associated with each of the following CO2 concentrations and climate sensitivity scenarios

Stabilisation of CO2 concentrations at 450 p.p.m. in 2100 assuming a climate sensitivity of 3.0 °C.

I have measured the sea level rise ( using a computer program) in 2050 = 0.291m,

In 2100 the level would be 0.470m at a climate sense of 3.2 degrees = 0.470m,

The question gives a baseline date of 1990, is this the date I would use to calculate the sea level rise from ?

and would I be expected to work the annual sea level rise out between 1990 - 2050 (60 years) 1990 level is used for some reason ??? not sure

or would it be 1990 - 2100 ????

any advice would be a help ! and thanx

You and I differ on the term measurement. Computers simulate and calculate, not measure (IMO).

If the baseline is 1990, you start there.

Then, calculate it from 1990 to 2050 (when the problem asked for it).
I concur and thank you ...
