Can a catalyst cause an exothermic reaction to become endothermic, or vice versa? Explain.

1 answer

I don't think so. A catalyst lowers the activation energy of a reaction making the reaction occur faster (more easily) but it doesn't change the parameters of the reaction itself in regards to using heat to make the reaction go or vice versa.
