To increase the amperage in the circuit, you can either decrease the resistance in the circuit or increase the voltage source. This will allow more current to flow through the circuit, thus increasing the amperage.

Adding a resistor to the circuit will increase the overall resistance in the circuit, which will decrease the current flowing through the circuit. This will cause the components in the circuit to receive less current and may affect the overall functioning of the circuit.
