h (x) = √x+12} -3 / x + 3
when x ≠ 3
h is continuous for all x > -12

h(x) = (√(x+12) - 3)/(x + 3)
it is continuous for x >= -12, as long as x ≠ -3

what kind of help do you want? the limit as x -> -3?
