Galactic nebulae are large clouds of gas and dust within our galaxy. They give off light by absorbing and re-emitting light from a few young and very hot stars within the nebula.
Globular clusters are groups large numbers of old stars that remain together in a spherical cluster, held together by mutual gravitational attraction. They contains very little gas or dust.
