Both "Forest Fire" and "Why Leaves Turn Color in the Fall" present factual information. Write an essay of your own about one of those essays. In your essay, tell whether the author provided enough information for you to understand the topic fully. Then discuss how the method of organization of the essay you are writing about affected your understanding of the topic. If you think additional information would have helped you understand the topic better, describe the information that is lacking and explain how it could have helped you.

I believe that the author of "Why Leaves Change Color and Fall" gave enough information in her essay. She includes various scientific details on how leaves change color and fall. The author is eloquent in the way she writes and the sentences flow. The cause and effect set up of this essay is perfect for the topic the author is writing about. She explains how one thing cause another thing to happen, for example the less sun that strikes the trees the less food they can make which causes them to suck the nutrients out of the leaves. This method of writing helped me understand the topic better because it shows the information how it happens and each step it takes to get to the final product. I think the author did a very good job of setting up this essay and there is no more information needed.
I haven't gotten my score back on it, but this should get yall started...
