note that gases are more soluble in higher pressures, thus CO2 gas will be most soluble in 900 torr.

i think the most common example (observation) for this is when you open a carbonated drink,, before it is opened, CO2 gas is dissolved in the liquid. when you open the bottle, CO2 gas escapes due to decrease in pressure (thus solubility decreases). this phenomenon is called effervescence.
