In the first sentence, acting should not be capitalized.
Spelling -- self-explanatory
At the age of 12 I had developed a great interest in the art of Acting. Acting has always been a passion and a part of me. What I like about acting is that you can go on a stage or in front of a camera without worrying about what people will think because chances are you're not even going to be yourself, you will become an entirely new person. You get to experience different personalities, cultures, and religions in acting.
When someone is acting, the word itself is defined in a new and unique way, acting is not self-explanitory, anybody can act but can they change themselves to become another? You can't pretend because what you're feeling the audience will also feel that same way so if you're pretending then the audience will know. The art of acting is an amazing skill and talent that not everybody has which is why it can be complex but very interesting and fabulous altogether.
