At basketball practice, Kyla made 60 free throws. this was 80% of her attempts. how many free throws did Kyla attempt?

6 answers

0.8x = 60

Divide both sides by 0.8

x = 75 free throws
honestly dont know i came for the answer cause im slow as frick...
No because 80% you have to change into a decimal This is going to be .80 Than to multiply it by 60. And then you’ll get 48
75 free throws
Y’all are stupid
I just want to say to every one that the correct answer is 48 free throws . you guys are probably wondering why ? ( well because if the problem says At a basketball practice, kyla made 60 free throws. This was 80 % of her attempts. How many free throws did kyla attempt? ) to solve this you have to turn the percentage into a decimal to multiply it by the 60 free throws she made in the game so this now would be 0.80 times 60 wich is going to equal =48.0 if you take the zero then your answer is 48 free throws there you go :)
