Prompt: Many people believe that education could be changed for the better. Some changes might be small, like the inclusion or exclusion of a specific text in a class. Some changes are system wide, like setting aside time each day for students to take part in self-motivated exploratory learning. What change do you think would improve education? In this essay, you will be arguing in favor of your idea.

To do this:
1. State the change you want to make as clearly as you can in a single sentence (e.g. To improve education we/schools/government should ________ )
This is your thesis.
2. Research your topic and come up with 3-4 arguments in favor of the change you are proposing.

3. Research/come up with the opposition’s best argument. Present it the best you can and then provide your counterargument. Why is their argument wrong/irrelevant/not convincing/etc.?
4.- Write out your essay in MLA format, making sure to include a hooking introduction and a finalizing conclusion.

You will need to find 2-3 sources for this essay. They should be cited in MLA format.
There is no page requirement for this essay. Just make sure you include all necessary elements.
