Are these ok?

The wild animals
Are very protective of
Their natural home

The sunlight is nice
For us to see in daylight
And helps us keep warm

Do any of these contain symbolism? If so, which ones and where?

Be sure to read, thoroughly, about all three elements of a haiku.

I hear the 5-7-5 (syllables or on) in yours, but I don't see the kireji.

I also don't see any particular kigo in these.

Forget it.
Symbolism is when an author uses something, such as a rose, to signify some idea. A rose, for example, could signify love or beauty. (That's just an example) Maybe that will give you some insight. So look for a deeper meaning...
