- Altruism: I am interested in working in a field where I can assist others and contribute to their well-being. Psychology and sociology both involve understanding and helping people, which aligns with my interest in altruism.
- Appreciation: It is important for me to work in an environment where my contributions are recognized and valued. In the field of psychology and sociology, there are opportunities to conduct research and make meaningful contributions to the understanding of human behavior and society.
- Flexibility: I value the ability to have a job that allows me to focus on other important things outside of work. In the field of social science, there are often opportunities for flexible work arrangements and the ability to engage in other pursuits such as volunteering or personal interests.
1.2 I chose these 3 fields because they align with my interests and values. I have always been interested in understanding human behavior and society, and studying psychology and sociology allows me to explore these topics in depth and make a positive impact on individuals and communities.
1.3 My strengths include strong communication skills, empathy, and analytical thinking. These strengths relate to the fields of psychology and sociology because they require effective communication with individuals and groups, the ability to understand and connect with people on an emotional level, and the capacity to analyze and interpret data and research findings.
1.4 My current studies in Bachelor of social science with psychology and sociology directly relate to the top 3 study or career fields I identified. The program provides a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, society, and the application of psychological principles to social issues. It also offers opportunities for research, practical experience, and critical thinking, which are all valuable skills in the fields of psychology and sociology.
